The Bit Stream

Partnerships

The Bit Stream considers collaborations that are relevant to readers curious about computing and digital information, while keeping editorial choices independent and commercial material easy to recognise.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly scoped educational projects, event or resource collaborations, and relevant partner placements across the site. A proposal should explain the subject, intended audience, format and what the partner is asking The Bit Stream to provide.

Placement and labelling

Accepted partner placements may appear in more than one part of the site when the placement is agreed to be across the site. Every paid, sponsored or partner placement is labelled where it appears, and readers should be able to distinguish it from independent editorial coverage.

Editorial boundaries

Partnerships do not buy editorial conclusions, coverage or endorsements. We may decline proposals that are unrelated to the publication, unclear about their purpose or likely to confuse readers about who is responsible for the material.

Send a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include the proposed subject, placement or collaboration type, intended audience and any relevant labelling expectations.
